Come join in all the fun that is Group Fitness! If you are a student or have a Faculty/Staff membership, there is no additional cost to jump into our drop-in classes. Our accredited instructors are ready to make you feel successful on your fitness journey!

Custom Group Fitness Classes

Interested in having a group fitness event for your organization? The first step is to take a look at our current group fitness offering and select a time and date that would not conflict with a regularly scheduled class. Next, submit a reservation request through the University's reservation system. After you have submited the request, contact Tori Lord with your preferred date, time, location, and format. We will work with you as quickly as we can! 


Scheduling Notes

On game day for Men’s Basketball, the SAC Group Fitness Studio closes 5 hours prior to game tip-off in order to accommodate the hospitality/media room for the team. All group fitness classes scheduled for that studio with either be moved to Belk Gym or cancelled. Check the schedule for updates.

Classes with consistently low attendance (less than 5) may be cancelled. Classes are subject to change due to participants needs.

Inclement Weather Policy

If the University is closed due to inclement weather, all group fitness classes will be cancelled for the day. If the University is on a delayed/adjusted schedule, group fitness classes will resume using the UNC Charlotte inclement weather schedule.


Class Admittance

Class size may be limited to equipment and space requirement (Cycle = 20 bikes available). Therefore, classes are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Bring and present your valid UNC Charlotte ID to gain access to classes.
